1. Is there any cost to attending the Kiwanis Apple Festival

Admission is free, but you do need to pre-register to attend. You may want to bring money to purchase items from the Farmers Market or food services There will be credit/debit card services available for food, and at some vendors.

2. Is there parking at the event?

Yes, there is parking on site.

3. Will there be food there?

We recommend bringing a lunch and some snacks (peanut & nut free please.) There may be food available to purchase from food trucks. There will also be pies for sale and apples for a donation while supplies last.

4. Are there washroom facilities?

Yes.  There are indoor flush toilets, outdoor pit toilets and portable toilets available.

5. Is the site stroller and wheelchair accessible?

The majority of the event is stroller and wheelchair accessible. There are accessible washrooms available. The nature hike and canoeing are not wheelchair friendly, but a single width all-terrain stroller would be manageable on the trails. We recommend a baby/toddler carrier.

6. Will the event be on if it rains or snows?

We will host the event rain or shine or even light snow. If the weather is not ideal, some activities may be substituted with alternative activities. The event will remain outdoors. If the weather is too formidable to host the event, we will advise on our social media pages.

7. Can I bring my dog?

We ask you to please leave your pets at home.  Pets are not permitted at the event.  Service and guide dogs are the exception.

8. Can I smoke on site?

There is a designated smoking area on site to the south side of the main building.  Cigarette smoking is only allowed in this area and all cigarettes must be put out in the containers provided.  Smoking of cannabis is not permitted on site. Alcohol is also not permitted on site during the event.
